North End of Myrtos Beach
15 October 2018 ⌁
There are at least 4.
One reason the water is so clear is that the beaches are stone beaches instead of sand.
Taken from the cave on the South end of the beach looking North.
The only real plan I had for my year off trip was to spend my birthday week on a Greek island. Mission accomplished.
Many years ago (thousands) the ceiling of this cave fell in, revealing itself. In the mid 20th century it was rediscovered and an entrance tunnel was dug for access.
You can’t swim in the cave, but tours are given throughout the day on boats.
