I went to the beach one evening (my favorite time to be there) and luckily had my camera with me because the moonrise was beautiful.

Okay it’s not really the welcome sign, but it is at one of the first rest areas on I-75 when you arrive in the state.

The snow here was a few feet thick still, and the ski slopes all around were full of people.
