While I was staying in Le Grazie I took a train over to Cinque Terre. It
was two days before a large storm moved in, so the sea was rough and the sky
was cloudy. Riomaggiore was beautiful nonetheless. Being so close to raw nature
always makes me appreciate life.
This is how you walk out to the beach. It was more than sketchy with the waves
fiercly rolling in next to me, which is hard to depict in an image.
The stairs go down to the ferry dock, which only runs during the summer. The
water is too rough the rest of the year.
I don’t know if these are technically called mooring balls but they’re used to
tie up all of the small fishing boats during the summer.
It’s always awkward taking pictures of myself with my giant camera. But it’s
worth it for the quality.
The restaurant in the back left - Dau Cila - is Michelin Star-rated.
