I went to Japan with some friends in late July 2017. We were there for 12 days and visited Tokyo, Mt. Fuji, Kyoto, and Osaka.
I made videos about this trip, which are up on my YouTube channel.
Riding the subway to our AirBnB, just after arriving in Tokyo!
Leaving my apartment to head to JFK!
The (unlit) Rainbow Bridge, Tokyo.
Pictured: Paul. We were walking back (in the rain) to our AirBnB after watching fireworks (in the rain).
Shinjuku Garden, Tokyo.
Nicole and James near the Robot Bar (which we didn’t go to because it was too expensive).
My cousin was teaching English in South Korea at the time and by pure coincidence we planned trips to Tokyo at the same time!

This entire station was eerily empty.
In Fujikawaguchiko, walking to a hike up those hills in the distance.
Arriving in Kyoto after our first ride on a Japan Rail High Speed Train.
We hiked about 30 minutes up to this waterfall near Mt. Fuji.
After our hike to the waterfall we hung out at this cabin before hiking back down.
If you look really hard, Mt. Fuji is in the clouds behind us.
On our hike down from the waterfall we met a traveler from Luxembourg.
Look-out to Kyoto from the Jishu-jinja Shrine.
Before walking up to Jishu-jinja Shrine in Kyoto.
Okonomiyaki. The most delicious meal of the trip.
Before Brandi left for Thailand, we went on a Ferris Wheel ride in Osaka.
